Tomorrow, fans will troop to the theatres to watch the movie version of Meyer's Twilight. (And I will be one of those screaming fans wearing something really fanatical and tacky -- like a "Team Edward" shirt or a "Bella and Edward forever" pin. Ugh!).
Today, on the other hand, is the day that I have chosen to come out of my self-imposed hibernation. And what do you know, the moment I decided to "come out", I was bombarded with calls from people who either wanted to see me because they missed me or those who just wanted to make use of my uhm, many talents . Oh well, how can I escape my fate?
And, I don't want to make too much fuss about my long hiatus. I'm back now and that's all that matters!

What's the Grub?
Raves and Rantings on Restos & Recipes
(My two-cents' worth on food, restaurants, and dining.)
I love dining out. I share this passion with my husband and especially my son, Zaki, who, in spite of his 8 yr. old body and mind, has the palate of a young Masaharu Morimoto. He tells me he wants to be a chef but with the rate things are going with his Pokemon addiction, he'd be chucking that dream in favor of catching Mewtwo. Zak is my worst critic as well as my greatest fan. "Mom, you're the best cooker!", "Cook, Zak, cook, not cooker." And in between bites of his pasta he'd just grin and give me a thumbs up.

The Pheonix has finally risen! I missed you, miga! As much as love the books, i'm waiting 'til Nov. 22 to take Adrianna to see the movie. We're going to the 9am show because hubby is convinced his head will implode if he has to be around the mob of sreeching teeny-boppers who will be packing in the later screenings. I hope you got as much out of your well desereved break and that things will be just peachy from here on. I'll be sure to check this blog soon for your Twilight the Movie feedback. Personally, I'm hoping that my apathy for Rob Pattinson doesn't prevent me from wholly enjoying the film. Fingers crossed.
